1. Acceptance of Terms

These terms are between you and Moca Design Studio (ABN 49 832 892 730), a sole-trader business in New South Wales, Australia, trading as JungOcean.

By accessing and using JungOcean (jungocean.com) and taking our personality assessments, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

JungOcean is intended for people aged 18 and over. By using the site, taking the assessment, or purchasing a report, you're confirming you're 18 or older.

As of 6 September 2026, JungOcean is not offered to visitors in the European Economic Area: we're a small Australian business and can't yet meet the EU's requirements for handling data from there, so the site is switched off for EEA visitors. The UK and Switzerland are unaffected.

2. Description of Service

JungOcean provides an informational, personality profiling platform combining Jungian cognitive typology theories and the Big Five (OCEAN) framework. We offer free profiles, a paid Deep Dive assessment (A$19.99), and an optional Jungian Analytical AI Blueprint report (A$10.00). All services are meant for education and self-reflection.

3. Payments, Billing & Refund Policy

All transactions are securely routed through Stripe. By purchasing a paid product (Deep Dive or Jungian Analytical AI Blueprint), you agree to pay the listed fees.

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Not satisfied with your purchase? Email support@jungocean.com within 7 days of your purchase and request a refund. We will process it back to your original payment method.
Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Notice: Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

Notice for EU/EEA and UK Consumers: By purchasing our digital assessment reports, you explicitly request that the performance of the service begins immediately, and you acknowledge and agree that you waive your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the contract once the digital report is generated — under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU if you're in the EU/EEA, or regulation 37 of the UK's Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 if you're in the UK. This waiver concerns that statutory right only. It does not limit the 7-day money-back guarantee above, which we offer voluntarily alongside your legal rights.

When you buy a report, you'll be asked to tick one box confirming you're 18 or over, agreeing to these Terms, and asking us to start delivering your digital report right away.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The optional “Jungian Analytical AI Blueprint” is a personalized narrative generated using the Google Gemini large language model, tailored to your test scores and type.

By purchasing or reading this analysis, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The report is generated by an artificial intelligence and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unexpected interpretations (hallucinations).
  • The voice, style, and tone of the report are a simulated approximation of the historical figure C.G. Jung and do not represent actual writing or live opinions of the historical person.
  • Strict Medical/Psychological Notice: The report is for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. It is not clinical diagnostic advice, psychiatric counseling, therapy, or medical treatment. It does not replace professional consultation with licensed mental health practitioners.

This applies equally to the Alchemical Sandbox chat: you're talking with an AI model, not a person, and nothing said there is medical or psychological advice either.

5. Scientific Disclaimer

The results provided by our assessments are based on statistical correlation models. We bear zero liability for any decisions, actions, or life events occurring as a result of taking our assessments or reading our profiles.

6. Intellectual Property

All questionnaire items, scoring algorithms, custom site graphics, codebases, and layout designs are the property of JungOcean.

The “Jungian Analytical AI Blueprint” report is generated by an artificial intelligence model. JungOcean does not claim copyright ownership over the raw text generated by the AI model. However, you are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual, personal license to view, download, and copy the analysis for private, non-commercial use, subject to our intellectual property rights over the underlying report format, scoring methodology, and site branding.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JungOcean and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, this website and its services.

Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other consumer protection legislation that cannot be lawfully excluded.
